Marvelous Winter Drinks

As the weather gets colder, we all start to crave comfort foods and drinks. There’s nothing better than cozying up with a blanket, a good book, and a steaming cup of something warm to drink. While coffee and tea are always great options, sometimes you want something a little bit more special. In some countries, there is no winter season. But it doesn’t mean that you should not taste these marvelous drinks. You can drink them doing anything you like even playing at 22bet Nigeria. Here are eight winter drinks that will warm you up and get you into the holiday spirit.

Spiced Apple Cider

This is a classic winter drink that can be easily made at home. All you need is some apple cider, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and an orange. Combine the apple cider, cinnamon sticks, and cloves in a pot and let it simmer for about 15 minutes. Then, add the orange slices and let it simmer for another 5 minutes. You can serve it hot or cold, but hot is definitely the way to go on a cold winter day.

Hot Chocolate

Hot Chocolate

Ah, hot chocolate. This is the perfect drink for a snowy day. You can make it from scratch or use a mix, but either way, it’s sure to be delicious. If you want to make it from scratch, start by melting some chocolate in a pot. Then, add milk and sugar to taste. For a twist on the classic, try adding a little bit of chili powder or cayenne pepper to give it a bit of a kick.

Eggnog

Eggnog is a holiday classic for a reason. It’s rich, creamy, and just a little bit boozy. If you want to make your own, start by whisking together eggs, sugar, and milk. Then, add in your choice of alcohol – rum is traditional, but bourbon or whiskey works well too. Serve it over ice or heat it up for a hot toddy version.

Mulled Wine

Mulled wine is a great way to use up a bottle of wine that’s been sitting around for a while. It’s also perfect for a holiday party – just make a big batch and keep it warm in a Crockpot. To make it, start by heating up some wine in a pot with sugar, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and an orange. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes, then ladle it into glasses and enjoy.

Peppermint Hot Chocolate

This is a twist on classic hot chocolate that’s perfect for the holidays. Start by melting some chocolate in a pot, then add milk and sugar to taste. Add a few drops of peppermint extract (or a crushed candy cane) and stir. Top it with whipped cream and a candy cane, and you’ve got a festive and delicious drink.

Spiked Coffee

Spiked Coffee

This is a great way to wake yourself up on a cold winter morning. Start by brewing a pot of coffee, then add your choice of alcohol – rum, whiskey, or bourbon work well. Add a splash of cream and a bit of sugar, and you’re all set. You can also make a version of this with decaf coffee, for a late-night treat that won’t keep you up all night.

Hot Toddy

A hot toddy is a perfect cure for a cold or the flu. It’s also great for warming up on a cold winter day. To make one, start by combining lemon juice, honey, and whiskey in a mug. Then, add hot water and stir. You can also add a cinnamon stick or a slice of ginger for extra flavor.

Cider Sangria

This is a great way to use up any extra cider you have from making mulled wine or spiced cider. It’s also a perfect party drink – just make a big batch and let your guests serve themselves. To make it, start by combining apple cider, white wine, brandy, and lemon juice in a pitcher. Then, add some sliced apples, oranges, and pears. Let it sit for a few hours, then serve it over ice.
